Being a minimalist has it's perks, especially when it comes to DIY projects.

In fact, if you're a DIY enthusiast with no time to spare, going minimalist is probably the smartest thing you can do.

Scrolling on Pinterest late at night I often ask myself - who are these people with endless amounts of time and weird craft supplies documenting all of these intricate projects?

But minimalist DIYs are the laziest of projects usually requiring nothing more than spray paint (black or white) or a couple of items you can find at your local hardware store.

If you're worried about things looking too cold or stark, try using warm materials like wood or copper, or stick to projects involving plants - vases, planters etc.
